Here are five important things to consider before bringing your dog to your wedding.

This venue, a charming 16th-century threshing barn nestled in the heart of the Wiltshire Chalke Valley, offers both indoor and outdoor ceremony options.

The barn was beautifully decorated by the bride’s mother, who is a talented wedding florist from South Wales.

The ceremony itself took place inside, filled with tears, laughter, and delightful interruptions from the kids—those spontaneous, heartwarming moments that make weddings so special! After exchanging emotional vows, the couple joyously walked out as husband and wife.

Following the ceremony, there were countless hugs and cheers, along with some family group shots outside the barn. This beautiful countryside venue offers a fantastic variety for couple shoots! The reception included heartfelt and humorous speeches, leading into the lively Ceilidh dance, where the joy of the guests could be wonderfully captured. Zoe and Daniel’s autumn wedding at High Billinghurst Farm was nothing short of unforgettable—a beautiful fusion of cultures, emotion, and incredible energy.

As a Surrey wedding photographer, I absolutely love weddings that blend traditions, and this Anglo-Indian celebration was truly something special. From the moment I first spoke with Daniel, I knew this day would be full of personality, excitement, and meaningful moments.

Groom Preparations in Godalming, Surrey

The morning began at The Kings Arms and Royal Hotel, where Daniel was getting ready with his father, best man, and groomsmen.

The atmosphere was relaxed but full of anticipation. Daniel’s excitement was clear from the start—he couldn’t wait to marry Zoe. These early moments are always important to capture, setting the story of the day with natural, candid interactions and genuine emotion.

Bridal Preparations at High Billinghurst Farm

I then made my way to High Billinghurst Farm, a venue I always love returning to.

Set in the heart of the Surrey countryside, this rustic farm offers a peaceful and private setting—perfect for couples looking for a relaxed, countryside wedding.

Zoe was getting ready with her mum and bridesmaids, who were dressed in stunning, colourful Indian outfits. The room was filled with laughter, excitement, and those beautiful in-between moments that make wedding morning preparations so special.

Zoe wore a classic English wedding dress for the ceremony—but hanging quietly in the room was a second outfit… a traditional Indian dress. I knew there was a surprise planned, but even I wasn’t prepared for just how incredible it would be later in the day.

Rustic Barn Ceremony at High Billinghurst Farm

The ceremony took place in the barn at High Billinghurst Farm, creating a warm and intimate setting.

As Zoe walked down the aisle, the emotion in the room was undeniable. These are the moments I love capturing most—real reactions, genuine connection, and memories that can’t be staged.

After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for confetti, and the energy was amazing. Zoe and Daniel were glowing with happiness, surrounded by their family and friends. These confetti wedding photos were full of life, laughter, and colour.

Natural Wedding Photography & Sunset Portraits

One of the highlights of this venue is the surrounding countryside.

We took a short walk to the nearby fields for some sunset wedding photography, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The warm autumn light, open landscapes, and quiet moments together created the ideal setting for relaxed, romantic portraits.

These are always some of my favourite images of the day—natural, unposed, and full of emotion.

Emotional Speeches & Unforgettable Surprise

The reception was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and incredible atmosphere.

But the real highlight of the evening was still to come…

Zoe disappeared briefly, leaving guests curious. When she returned, she had changed into her stunning traditional Indian outfit—and what followed was completely unforgettable.

She and her bridesmaids performed an incredible Indian dance, full of energy, colour, and emotion. Daniel had no idea this was coming, and his reaction was priceless.

The entire room came alive. The music, the movement, the joy—it was one of those moments you simply can’t describe, only experience.

A Beautiful Anglo-Indian Wedding to Remember

]]> Providing a traditional and relaxed atmosphere, the 16th-century Winchester Hotel offers the perfect wedding venue for your special day – with its stunning ceremony rooms, exquisite food, and a dedicated wedding planner to help you along the way. And then there’s the jewel in the crown – Secret Garden provides a beautiful backdrop to capture those memories.

It was lovely to be contacted by Elizabeth and Robert to capture their big day. They chose a wedding venue in the heart of Winchester at the Winchester Royal Hotel. Winchester is one of my favourite city in the county of Hampshire and it’s located on the edge of England’s South Downs National Park.

I arrive early to capture some getting ready photos of Elizabeth, bridesmaids and beautiful flower girls. Their ceremony was conveniently only couple of minutes away from the hotel at St Peter’s church.

After the ‘I do’s’ and gorgeous confetti walk, we walked back to the hotel to do some group photos. We ended the night off with a magical sunset photoshoot of the bride and groom at the nearest park by the beautiful River Itchen.

]]> In September 2021 I was given the wonderful opportunity to capture another gorgeous Autumnal wedding, and only a few minutes from my home! The Half Moon is a wedding venue located in the heart of the South Downs National Park in the village of Sheet, just outside the historic market town of Petersfield.

I arranged to meet this lovely couple prior to their wedding day for a stunning family/pre-wedding photoshoot on Butser Hill, Hampshire. It’s always good meeting the soon-to-be bride and groom prior to the wedding so they feel more relaxed in front of the camera and we get a chance to get to know each other a bit more.

We managed to time the photoshoot just right at the top of the hill to capture the incredible views at sunset. These types of photos at sunset are so magical and the scenery was breathtaking.

]]> Following their smaller and more intimate wedding that I photographed back in 2021 due to COVID restrictions, it was absolutely amazing to be part of this lovely wedding in Bath. I was so happy Becky and Jack invited me again to capture their dream wedding with all their family and friends at the amazing venue Priston Mill, Bath. Becky’s hair was beautifully done by her sister Hannah who was my summer bride in the same year (Hannah Hair). She is one the most talented wedding hair specialists I have ever worked with! Becky’s mum loves floristry so she made the bouquets for her, the bridesmaids and all the buttonholes!

This was the autumn wedding with all the lovely colours and we were so lucky with the beautiful weather. They had their ceremony and reception at Priston Mill that is set in a valley within the Duchy of Cornwall’s Newton Park Estate.

Their day was absolutely perfect and I am so pleased they finally had their dream wedding.

Audrey and Chris wedding was simply beautiful! They chose Autumn to get married and the intimacy of this gorgeous Hurley House Hotel. We did some photo shoot of the couple and their children in nearby cute village.
