Providing a traditional and relaxed atmosphere, the 16th-century Winchester Hotel offers the perfect wedding venue for your special day – with its stunning ceremony rooms, exquisite food, and a dedicated wedding planner to help you along the way. And then there’s the jewel in the crown – Secret Garden provides a beautiful backdrop to capture those memories.
It was lovely to be contacted by Elizabeth and Robert to capture their big day. They chose a wedding venue in the heart of Winchester at the Winchester Royal Hotel. Winchester is one of my favourite city in the county of Hampshire and it’s located on the edge of England’s South Downs National Park.
I arrive early to capture some getting ready photos of Elizabeth, bridesmaids and beautiful flower girls. Their ceremony was conveniently only couple of minutes away from the hotel at St Peter’s church.
After the ‘I do’s’ and gorgeous confetti walk, we walked back to the hotel to do some group photos. We ended the night off with a magical sunset photoshoot of the bride and groom at the nearest park by the beautiful River Itchen.
