]]> I was contacted by a lovely couple Faith an Brian to photograph their wedding day at their favourite parish church called Highfield Church in Southampton that is so close to their hearts. Both ceremony and reception took place at the church that was big enough to accommodate all their 300 guests.

Brian is an event organiser and to plan his wedding was so exciting for him. He thought of every little detail and I am so happy that their wedding was such a fun day. After a picnic at the church, all guest went for a walk to a local park where there were organised lots of fun activities as bag race, pulling rope race and other fun outdoor games. There were lots of children at their wedding so it was so lovely to see so many happy little faces.

I finished a day with them by capturing some stunning sunset photos in a village in southern Hampshire called Warsash. The weather was just perfect and I manged to create some beautiful soft images that they will cherish forever.

It was the first time I worked at this amazing Wiltshire wedding venue and I was spoiled by so many photo opportunities inside of this stunning house and its beautiful garden. If you are looking for a Cotswold luxury and elegant wedding venue, you should visit this place. Grittleton House is an exclusive, privately owned, country house wedding venue set within 35 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, with a choice of stunning rooms to accommodate all wedding parties.

I photographed their getting ready bridal photos at Grittleton House, before heading off to their wedding ceremony at beautiful Malmesbury Abbey, a stunning historical church that was built in the 12th century. After the ‘I do’s’ and fun confetti shot, we headed back to Grittleton for the reception. The reception room looked absolutely beautiful. Juliet and Tom are very creative couple and made their own, very impressive, wedding decorations. After some outdoor games and some fun speeches, the couple was ready for the cake cutting and then onto the beautiful first dance. ]]> This year I have worked in many Cotswold wedding venues and I can certainly say that Oxleaze is one of my favourites. As a photographer I felt so spoilt with locations for creating beautiful wedding photos of my wedding couple Abbey and Chris. Oxleaze comprises of two original adjoining Cotswold stone barns, set in a mature landscaped courtyard at the heart of a family-run farm. The pretty courtyard garden complements the space and is perfect for an outside ceremony, drinks reception, and evening revelry. A fire pit and pretty festoon lighting add even more magic.

This was the first time I visited this rustic and country wedding venue to capture Abbey and Chris’s wedding day. They were incredibly lucky to have beautiful sunshine throughout the whole day. After their outdoor ceremony, we managed to escape for some couple’s photos to a wonderful private garden that this venue offers. It offers so many fantastic locations that allow me to create the most amazing images.

I am truly honored for my couple to choose me to capture their big day. I really enjoyed being part of it and capture all their special moments.

With beams dating back to 1702 the Milling Barn is full of character, offering a unique ceremony space for 90. Come twilight it transforms into a great party barn to dance the night away! 

For a wilder touch, our pretty wed shed at the top of the wooded meadow is licensed for ceremonies, with breathtaking views over the Cotswold countryside beyond. 

Oxleaze Barn is located between the quintessential Cotswold villages of Eastleach, Filkins and Southrop. It is 1.5hr from London and easily accessible from Oxford, Swindon and Cheltenham.

It is a flexible and beautiful venue in an idyllic rural setting boasting uninterrupted views of Chichester Harbour and the South Downs. This lovely barn in West Sussex provides a stunning setting for your special day with beautiful field around.

Sian and Matt’s wedding was just wonderful from start to finish. Sian got ready with all her bridesmaid in one the beautiful Tudor Cottage in Westbourne. Her make up artists Amber @amberfiedmakeup and Hannah Hair UK @hannahhairuk did a fantastic job with Sian looking gorgeous the whole day. After her first look with Dad in the garden, Sian was collected by her favourite car Land Rover to get to the stunning ceremony situated in the heart of Chichester City Centre, The Guildhall radiates romance and charm. With plenty of natural light, a beautiful stone floor and grand opening entrance, The Guildhall will add a touch of fairytale wedding to any ceremony. A Grade 1 listed building with a rich history which dates back to 1282, The Guildhall is perfect for couples looking for a venue with history and ambience. Dominating the beautiful grounds of Priory Park, The Guildhall can seat up to 110 people and is ideal for those looking for intimate, yet sophisticated surroundings.

After the ‘I do’s’ had been said and the confetti had been thrown it was time for the couple to take some photos of their special place in Bosham Harbour.

The reception room looked so beautiful. Sian and Matt did such an amazing job by decorating the room in colourful tones. Its warm wooden beams and fairy lights created such a warm, cosy place. After the speeches and the meal, it was time for cake-cutting and dancing. Matt and Sian had chosen a band called Mumfudden Suns which created a fantastic atmosphere in the room.

My couple and I escaped to the field nearby to take some stunning sunset photos. The evening was just magical and it was so lovely to watch people playing outdoor games, sitting by the fire pit and having lots of fun.

It was a dream to work with Matt and Sian. They are such a lovely couple and they made me feel to be a great part of their big day. Thank you so much for being so welcoming!

]]> A lovely couple Kacey and Tom chose to celebrate their big day at The Anchor Inn, set on a quiet country road in the heart of Hampshire and surrounded by rolling green fields. This is a true country inn at heart and a picturesque country wedding location. 

They opted for an outdoor ceremony and the weather was really accommodating and provided gorgeous sunshine the entire day. After their emotional ceremony, we quickly did some formal family group photos and then I left the guests to mingle and enjoy the sunshine. Speeches were emotional, as they should be, and after that, we managed to escape for some golden hour couples’ photos. I just love the photos of Tom and Kacey with that beautiful warm low afternoon light behind them on a beautiful field. This is my favourite time of the day to create some magical, romantic and soft images.

]]> After planning a July 2021 wedding, Ellie and Tom rescheduled to 23rd July 2022, allowing almost all of their friends and family from overseas to attend. It was the biggest wedding I have ever photographed with 300 guests!

The bride, her parents and her bridesfolk travelled to University Church of St Mary the Virgin in Oxford in a vintage minibus. Once they arrived at the church, Ellie walked down the aisle to a beloved classic. The ceremony also featured the vocal talents of Ellie’s friends. Ellie is a choral singer and I will never forget her surprise song for Tom – When I am Sixty Four from Beatles. It was such a lovely moment and this song will always remind me this special day. The pair swapped wedding rings that had previously belonged to their grandparents.

Following the ceremony, the happy couple and their guests made their way to Newbridge Farm in Witney, Oxfordshire where they continued celebrations that had begun the night before. On the wedding day itself, guests tucked into a variety of dishes, including some delicious Italian desserts. The entertainment was kicked off with a performance from Tom’s sister, Anna, who sang Plan to Marry by Lucinda Williams before some wedding breakfast games began. The couple’s first dance was to I Want to Hold Your Hand by the Beatles, starting out with an acoustic version before inviting everyone onto the dance floor for the original, energetic version.

Thank you Ellie and Tom for hiring me for your most amazing day. I was truly honoured to be part of it.

Alexis got ready at The Swan Hotel in Alton, surrounded by her bridesmaids and her parents. The morning was a buzz of ‘getting ready’ vibes with excitement.  After photographing bridal prep at Hampshire hotel, I drove to The Departure Lounge where Matthew was waiting with his groomsmen and all guests.  Their ceremony was outside in the beautiful field with gorgeous view. It was just the perfect setting for a lovely summer outdoor wedding ceremony in Hampshire. 

After the wedding breakfast at a beautifully set up marquee, the guests moved over to the field where they enjoyed garden games on the lawns overlooking the Hampshire countryside.
