Set on the edge of the delightful Cotswolds, Winkworth Farm is a family-owned and operated country wedding venue that is truly picture perfect. With its stunning barns, gardens and converted farm buildings it makes a beautiful backdrop for your big day.
The beautifully renovated 17th-century Cotswold stone barn is nestled within the tranquil setting of 220 acres of organic pasture. The luscious lawns, herbaceous borders and sunken garden sit within the beautiful organic meadows, providing stunning scenery and magical backdrops for your important wedding photographs.
Chriss and Molly got married in the South Cotswold's venue of Winkworth Farm. I arrived at the on-site cottage to capture some of the preparations with Molly and her bride's squad as well as Chriss and his groomsman. They opted to an outdoor wedding ceremony and got lucky with a glorious sunshine through the whole day. During the ceremony they read their own vows which was such an emotional moment for all wedding guests.
After confetti shot and group photos, everyone sat down for a hog roast feast and speeches in the afternoon , followed by some fun garden games. Then the evening kicked off with a live band to create a fantastic entertainment for all wedding guests.
